VISION STATEMENT

 Faith On The Move Ministries is committed to sharing the love of Jesus with truckers and truck stop employees in West Memphis, Arkansas, and around the world, through preaching, Bible teaching, counseling, and providing Bibles, Christian tapes, Christian CDs, and gospel tracts.

As members of the body of Christ, we exist to glorify God our Creator and express His will to both those who follow Him and those who seek Him.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. We believe in the complete, verbal inspiration of the Bible as the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ,
          in His virgin birth,
          in His sinless life,
          in His miracles,
          in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood,
          in His bodily resurrection,
          in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
          in His personal, bodily return in power and glory.
  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
  5. We believe that the gospel as defined in I Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 16:31 and Ephesians 2:8-9 is a gift from God in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone and that good works, spiritual gifts, baptism, or anything else man does, do not need to be added to receive it.
  6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life; and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  8. We believe in the reality and personality of Satan as a living Angelic Being in unending enmity with God.
  9. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  10. We believe in the right of private interpretation and the competency of the individual soul in direct approach to God.
  11. We believe in the absolute separation of church and state.
  12. We believe in the observance of the ordinances of believers' baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper in obedience to the commands of Christ.
  13. We believe in a world-wide program of missionary fervor and evangelism in obedience to the final command of Christ.
